(H033) Mr. Pig - Color Chart "Just because I'm teeny, doesn't mean I'm not art!" When you're only two inches tall, it's hard to be taken seriously.  Annie's art and I walk this path together; seeking to educate the public to look beyond size to the essence of the art itself.  Such is our dilemma - getting people to realize that size isn't the key to her art. I volunteered to be the official spokes-animal for Annie's Hatchery.

(H034) Quail - Color Chart Be careful what you read; books can be dangerous! Twenty years ago I came across the book That Quail Robert of a woman who raised a newly hatched quail chick. She became a mother quail in that infant's eyes, thereby creating an interspecies bond of endearing quality. Guess what!  I did the same thing and found it works.  I named my female quail Cook-Cook, and found the experience with her one of the delights of my life.

(H035) Racing Snail - Color Chart I first designed The Snail for the Sanibel Shell Fair  jewelry exhibit.  I was in a serious mood when I created it, with its "horns" swept back so they wouldn't break off when worn.  The racing snail evolved from this. A few months ago I had a dream.  In that dream the snail I'd created wanted me to imagine him in a car, sitting on the passenger side with his head out the window; the rushing wind forcing his "horns" back like the ears of a dog.  The interpretation of the dream seems to be that the whimsical nature of my art is for me too.  This dream gave birth to the name Racing Snail.
